We are in an off-grid remote cottage in the mountains, on the edge of mobile phone service, and no wifi. This does take a little time to set up, but it does make a significant difference. I bought this for an area that has poor signal (1-2 bars) and no signal inside a nearby metal building. My goal was to get signal inside the building, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I pointed the aerial at the nearest mobile phone tower with a little trial and error, and now have a minimum of three bars 5G in the furthest part of the metal building. If you are right next to the indoor antenna, you often have four or even five bars of 5G. The signal is now strong enough to run a hotspot and have multiple devices active at once.
